Have you ever wanted to offer an art workshop or arts program abroad but didn’t know where to start? Or maybe you just don’t have the time to research and set up the program in-country. La Romita School of Art, Inc., a non-profit organization that has been running workshops in Central Italy since 1966, can help you plan and execute a successful workshop retreat in Italy.

Qualifications:

Long experience has shown that to offer a workshop retreat in Italy in partnership with La Romita School of Artyou must:

  • have a strong following of students who are likely to follow you if you take your workshop abroad;
  • have experience in teaching workshops/seminars (as distinguished from academic courses in a school setting);
  • have a demonstrated proficiency in your subject.

La Romita School’s expertise comes from organizing arts-related workshop retreats in Italy since 1966. We provide organizations, instructors and participants with beautiful, authentic settings and rich cultural experiences as a backdrop for their programs. We provide accommodations, meals, local transportation, cultural excursions, and can assist with the administrative services necessary for your successful workshop retreat in Italy.

GROUPS, STUDY-ABROAD PROGRAMS, AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS

If you are the leader or a member of an affiliate group or university/college and would like to investigate the possibility of creating an activity-based trip to Italy for your group`s members, please contact us. Together we can design a unique program that focuses on your particular activity (an art form, language study, study-abroad, cooking, spirituality, nature walks, family reunion, etc.) but combines it with all the wonderful things about Italy: culture, food and wine, scenery, art, and history. It will make your participants feel that they are seeing an intimate side of Italy that only friends can show you. As your first step, contact Edmund Zimmerman or Enza Quargnali and just talk about the many possibilities for your group.

We look forward to hearing from you to begin designing your workshop!
