Due to increasing concerns surrounding the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and the World Health Organization and US CDC recommendation to postpone travel to and from Italy, we have had to cancel our 2020 season.
La Romita has been a center of creativity, community, and family for centuries. For over 50 years, we have offered that space to students and teachers, friends and families, and the greater community. We have survived recessions, earthquakes, global political crises, the modernization of technology, changes in airline policies and regulations, and a changing global climate and so it saddens us to take this drastic step, but it is absolutely the best decision in order to protect our community.
The health and safety of our valued community are of utmost importance. Take care of yourselves. And thank you for your support and patience as we navigate this unprecedented and ever-changing situation.
