About Eli
Born in Boston, Eli Cedrone is an award-winning artist whose work reflects years of dedication, study, and a passion for capturing beauty. Her training began at the School of Art & Design at Suffolk University and continued in Florence, Italy, as well as at the Museum of Fine Arts School and the Academy of Realist Art in Boston.
Her work has been recognized in publications such as PleinAir Magazine and Fine Art Connoisseur, and she has been honored with residencies, fellowships, and invitations to juried exhibitions in the U.S. and abroad.
In addition to her studio practice, she is a passionate and widely admired instructor. She enjoys sharing her love of painting, whether leading a workshop across the globe or guiding a student through their first breakthrough, she has a way of making art feel both exciting and accessible.
“I’ve always been influenced by the power of images to express ideas and emotions. My goal as a painter is descriptive precision balanced with an immediacy of expression. Ultimately my concerns are with the qualities of light captured with paint.”
