Journey to our Inner Artist – with Claudette Gamache

The three, one hour classes, will be held weekly and will include exercises and tools to help stoke our creative fire. The last class will be a pastel demonstration incorporating all from the first two. Our creative fire is ignited by the use of memory, passion, and imagination that incorporate who we are, our very spirits, within our work. We will use drawing as a way to get closer to our subject, utilizing tools such as breath, sound, music, visualization, meditation and a response to nature as further means of awakening our creativity. We will delve into personal stories, life experiences and real- life learning to explore how we can incorporate body, mind, emotion and our total being into our work to give it life. These classes only begin to touch on avenues to learn more about as we travel our journey to our inner artist. If interested, subsequent classes will follow.
