La Romita offers this uninstructed workshop, for artists of any stripe who wish to enjoy the best we have to offer but who aren’t interested in specific instruction.
For 7 days you’ll have freedom to follow your own process, with daily opportunities to go offsite. Head out to Spoleto, San Gemini, Orvieto – or wherever our bus is going that day. Spend the morning finding inspiration among picturesque destinations, then come back and continue your work in the studio or under the gazebo.
In the evening, compare notes and socialize with other artists and writers over aperitifs and dinner – if there’s a festival or noteworthy evening activity, you can be sure we’ll know about it and work that in!
As with all our programs, for the price you get pickup and dropoff from Leonardo DaVinci Airport (Rome), all meals, room, board, and day trips included.
Perfect for photographers or plein air artists looking for a quick getaway and writers looking for inspiration or a “residency-like” escape.
